Small Black - “Despicable Dogs”

Brooklyn’s Small Black flat out get what low-fi electronic pop is all about. Their debut EP came out today, and I dare say it should be in every low-fi (or “glo-fi” as Pitchfork would say) fan’s iPod. They’re still mighty early on in their careers, but they’ve got friends in all the right places, with forthcoming shows with Pictureplane and a beautiful remix of this track from blog poster child Washed Out. Those at CMJ next week can catch them a whopping four times throughout the week.
