#65 - YACHT - “Psychic City”

YACHT has constructed themselves as part cult-leaders, part music history educators, and part musicians. This track comes from a chanted poem on a K records release by Richard Jansen, but is transformed into a dance-pop hit. While I can’t say I like them enough to join the ranks of their cult, this and a few other tracks are worthwhile, as is their website where they disclose loads of influences.
